Hey Pico-denizens (and savvy survey seekers)! What a wonderful week to make use of those delightfully hard-to-obtain coins! Many of you may have simply shrugged it off when you saw the advert but allow me to redirect your attention to it. As some of you know, there are super special one-of-a-kind items being given out right now when you purchase 500AG! For the gentlemen out there, you guys get a nifty turban while the ladies get a fancy veil. Now, I know you survey connoisseurs are thinking this has nothing to do with you but you, my friends, are wrong. The advertisement conveniently left out the fact that it isn't necessary for you to buy the AG--in fact, if you net 500AG via surveys, you still get the item! I was unaware of this until my friend today received her sexy veil. So what did I do? I started looking for surveys to do immediately!
640G from surveys later, I am now the proud owner of a stylish Egyptian turban! And nothing is stopping you guys out there to snag one of these for yourselves! On a side note, are there any other guys out there who thought of dressing up as Professor Quirrel if you had a turban? Anybody? Just me? Okay, I'm a dork.
Oh but that's not all! Kay. You got your 500+ gold...what are you going to use it on now? Well for this week and this week only, special, limited gothic lolita items are being offered in a premium Gacha machine in NYC! Unisex items includes the rare and stylish cape, the super rare bat styled backpack, and a bat styled handbag (or murse, for you men out there). The NYC Gacha isn't an ordinary Gacha; each try is 50AG. Unfortunately, duplicates of the same item can happen and I'm not sure of the exact chances of each item but for the record, the first five times I tried it, I got a suit, a pimp cane...er...mysterious vampire cane, rather, gloves, a nifty eyepatch, as well as a bat murse. All of these items can be found on the official Pico blog with pictures! If you're interested in these items, be sure to mess around with the NYC Gacha before the week is over!
And to get some business out of the way...
I personally have lots of ideas on what to post about in the near future but in the end, it's a go-to for all you Pico-ers out there. Feel free to leave some feedback about what you guys would like to know about and I'll try my best! Also my Pico name changes all the time; finding me may be a difficult task (just for the record, it's currently カトウ and you're welcome to copypasta that into the buddy search. Currently, I am not accepting anymore friend requests.
And that's what's happening this week in Pico, fellow Pico aficionados!

Pets
Because everybody and their mother have been asking me about pets, I feel this may be necessary. The types of pets that are currently available in Ameba Pico are dogs, cats, and pandas. They also come in a variety of colors. Unfortunately, all these pets cost Ameba Gold. You heard right: they cost Ameba Gold. Furthermore, tokens will not help you in any way. But fear not, Pico-denizens! There is hope.
Now, if you guys are anything like me, you probably refuse to spend actual cash on this. At the end of the day, they're still only a bunch of colorful pixels. Your alternative is to do surveys! Your upper right corner of the screen should display how much gummies you currently possess. Next to it should be your Ameba Gold amount. If you click it, a window of your purchase history should pop out. On the top right of that window, there's an option called "Get Ameba Gold." Click that. Then click the "Complete Offers" tab. You are now shown a plethora of ways to get some Ameba Gold for free! My personal favorites are the surveys of the day; little to no hassle, no sketchy downloads, etc. They're not totally reliable though; occasionally the surveys of the day don't want your opinion for some reason or the other. Don't fret; you can always try the next day.
So how much are the pets? Dogs and cats are both 400G each whereas the ever elusive panda is a whopping 600G. Also, as previously stated, they come in a variety of colors when you're actually planning on getting your pet, be on the lookout for your most desired color! Don't do anything with your hard earned (or bought) Ameba Gold you may regret later on! I've seen multi-colored panda owners before yet I've never seen them at the pet farm. Not that that means much--I don't spend all my time there.
Which brings up an important point! Where do you buy them? Sweet baby Jesus if only you knew how many times I get asked that in public. Pets are available in the New Zealand pet farms. Really, all you have to do is click travel and scroll down. I promise you it's there right under Asakusa Japan. And for all you visual learners out there, here's a picture.
So what happens after you've adopted your pet? (Just for the record, you can only have three pets and only take one with you at any given time). You need to feed it preferably when it's hungry. Pet food can be bought from the catalog or at the pet farms. Dogs and cats need to be fed twice a day whilst pandas need to be fed more. The number escapes me at the present but I do believe it's four times. Fatty McFatfat. Also, you'll have to play with them as well as take them out to public places. Playing with them will increase their mood and their relation overall (which means more adorable pet tricks!). Taking them for walks helps boost mood from what I can tell, too. If you don't take them out, they might give you a /conf and be little turds. Not fun.So that pretty much sums up how to get pets, Pico-ers!

Welcome to PICOdesign!
Hey fellow Pico-ers. I've been recently getting a lot of questions about Pico in general and I've decided instead of answering identical questions multiple times, I'll just impart my wisdom to the public here. I'll mainly focus on the basics of improving your own home, wardrobe, what have you and hopefully teach you a few new tricks to improving your Pico life. So how about we jump straight into it?
Let's face it: building a kickass pad is no easy task. You can make your room really stylish but you'll find sooner or later that you have no more room to arrange all your fancy furniture. You attempt to squeeze things in and before you know it, it's a giant clusterfuck and everything has gone straight to hell. Sadface. What you need is multiple floors. Why, how would one perform such a task you ask? Stacking blocks is key. Allow me to demonstrate.
Before you begin, there are several things you probably should have in your possession:
And then another one on top of the one you just set down.
Then you put, in my case, the blue block on top of the brown. You'll notice that your blocks are now defying gravity. Good. We're getting somewhere.
Now you continue pulling the one out from under and placing it on top until you reach your desired height. We'll henceforth refer to this tactic as stacking. Once you get it to your desired height, laying down the foundation begins. In these next few images, I'll be using my already constructed third floor (a soon to be garden if you must know) with a few chunks taken out. What I'm using as my foundation is thin, bright green tile blocks. What you do is place one on the stacked block. Then click it so that the move/rotate/pickup bubbles appear. Not many people know this, but in this mode you are allowed to move the selected item with your arrow keys. Why is this important? It allows you to move blocks in air, essentially as you are starting on a stacked platform. Meaning once you place a tile on your stacked blocks, you can move them anywhere on that level. This makes building your next floor a cinch.
Hope this helps, fellow Pico enthusiasts.

Before you begin, there are several things you probably should have in your possession:
- Garbage blocks. You know the types. That hideous bright orange block or that gross purple one you got from Gacha. It's not a bad idea to keep at least two on hand--they're great for stacking.
- Tile blocks/Blocks of your choice. Now you'll be needing a lot of these. Not only do these actually make up your next floor, they'll also be used for the staircase (how else are you going to get up to your next floor?). Save your gummies kids 'cuz this ain't a cheap process. I personally prefer the tile blocks at 200 gummies a pop. They're thinner and makes your place look less cluttered when using them for another floor. But really, you could use giant blocks for all I care (keep in mind those are 300 a piece).
And then another one on top of the one you just set down.
